EASY BUTTER CHICKEN SERVES 4 PREP TIME 10 MINS COOK TIME 20 MINS 1 ONION, SLICED 500g SKINLESS CHICKEN THIGH FILLETS, CUT INTO 2cm PIECES 535g CAN WATTIE'S JUST ADDTM BUTTER CHICKEN SIMMER SAUCE 1. Heat a dash of oil in a saucepan. Add onion and stir-fry over medium heat until softened. Increase the heat. Add the chicken and stir-fry until it colours. 2. Pour over Wattie's® Just Add™ Butter Chicken Simmer Sauce. Bring sauce to near boiling. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked and sauce has reduced a little. 3. Remove from the heat and stir through cream. Garnish with chopped coriander. Serve with basmati rice, green beans or courgettes on the side and naan or poppadoms if desired. 1/4 CUP CREAM 3 CUPS COOKED BASMATI RICE OUR CHEF'S TIP • Replace the cream with natural unsweetened yoghurt - making sure it is added after removing from the heat to avoid curdling. A full fat yoghurt is less likely to cause curdling. • Add ¼ tsp dried chilli flakes if wanting to add a little extra spice heat.
